Abstract
Editors’ introduction: "In testimony in the Junipero Serra Building before the Advisory Committee on Human Cloning in California, Dr. Glenn McGee argued that “the strategy that makes the most sense morally, legally and perhaps even politically, is to identify and promote those features of existing law and policy that point to shared communal views about parenthood, while treating the problem of cloning not as a matter for Camelot-style top-down regulation but rather as a matter for public discussion and slow communal progress.”
